The representative from Dyckerhoffand )lidmapn~, Inc,. presented,.a general discussion of the function and qualification of. the/.DywiDag ThreadbarReinforcing System used to splice reinforcing steel bar., tie. indicated,',that the failure mades. of,the splice system were (1) the bar breaks,due, to, 1ow,quaiity rebar, and (2),the bar "slips".-
