APPROVAL OF RADIOGRAPHIC STANDARDS FOR LONGITUDINAL PIPING WELDS FOR NINE MILE POINT, UNIT 2 We have reviewed your letter dated June 28, 1979 in which you requested authori-zation to use the radiographic acceptance criteria of Paragraph NC-5000 of ASHE Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III, 1P77 Edition through Summer 1977 Addendum in lieu of the 1974 Edition through Summer 1976 addenda for longitudinal piping welds in the drywell floot downcomers, We conclude that this is an acceptable criteria for these particular components subject to the condition that the applicable addenda would include those through the Summer 1978 addenda in compliance with Part 50.55a(b)(1) of 10 CFR Part 50.
