NRC review of your Bulletin 79-14 responses dated November 7, 1979 and December 7, 1979 which provide an update schedule for completion of Bulletin 79-14 requirements has been completed.
Based on this review and a telephone conversation between Mr. Baunack of this office and Mr. Perkins of your staff on December 20, 1979, we understand that the following will be accomplished:
a.
The remaining inspections required by Bulletin 79-14 will be completed before March 31, 1980.
b.
A report will be submitted with the final results of the inspection within 30 days of the completions of the inspection.
c ~ If the seismic qualification of any safety system piping or component is shown to be improper, the plant will be placed in the cold shutdown con-dition either within 7 days of identification of any such uncorrected item or as specified in Technical Specifications, whichever is less.
d.
Should such a shutdown (Item c. above) occur, the facility will remain in the cold shutdown condition until corrective action on the identified component is completed.
