4I On Friday, December 8, 1978, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will conduct a one-day seminar on the new Model Radiological Effluent Techni.cal Specifications for Nuclear Power Plants.
Representatives from the Office of'uclear Reactor Regulation will make presentations at the'eminar.
The agenda will include an introduction and background of the effluent technical specifications, the development of Standard Technical Specifications, the method and schedule for implementing the new technical specifications and the major changes from the present technical specifications.
A question and answer period will follow the prepared presentations.
You are invited to send representatives to this seminar to be held at the Valley Forge Holiday Inn, 260 Goddard Boulevard, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
We encourage you to send those members of your staff most closely involved in your radiological effluent program.
Please notify Mr. J. Philip Stohr, Chief, Environmental and Special Projects Section, Region I, or his secretary
((215) 337-5260) no later than Friday, December 1, 1978, of the names of individuals from your organization who will attend this seminar so that we can confirm the space accommodations for the meeting room.
It would be extremely beneficial if you would submit in advance of the seminar specific questions concerning the topics you would like to hear discussed so that the speakers will be able to provide answers to those questions that apply to the entire audience.
It should be emphasized that we will answer any and all questions pertaining to radiological effluents; however, if the problem is specific to your case and not of general interest to the entire.audience, we will communicate with you directly, rather than at this seminar.

Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m., at desks located adjacent, to the entrance to the seminar room.

Limousine service between Philadelphia International Airport and any hotel or motel in the King of Prussia area is available every half hour in both directions, leaving the airport between 7:00 a.m.
and 1:00 a.m.;
and leaving the area motels between 5:45 a.m.
and 11:00 p.m.

SEMINAR INFORMATION SHEET There is no registration fee for the seminar.
No formal arrangements have been made for lunch, which may be purchased at, the Holiday Inn or at any of the several nearby locati'ons.
The seminar is expected to run from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

HOW TO GET HERE:
I.
Map 1 ties our location'into Interstate-95 from the north and south and into'the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Turnpikes;- via Route 202 from the south and via the Walt Whitman Bridge and the Schuykill Expressway from New Jersey.
II.
Map 2 shows travelers how to get onto Route 202 N. and then onto Goddard Boulevard, the Valley Forge Holiday Inn's location.
III. For those arriving by train or airplane, the Schuykill Expressway lies close to the railroad station and is a link to the Philadelphia International Airport, and may be used for automobile, taxi or public transportation.
Limousine service varies with hotel destina-tion.
A public bus runs from the Penn-Central Railroad Station to the King of Prussia
- Plaza, across from the 'Valley Forge Holiday Inn.
