Ue are reviewing the information which you submitted on June 29, 1973, concerning the high energy line breaks outside the contaiammt for the Hine KUu Point Unit 1. VTe find that our review cannot be. completed without the fo1lowing additional information:

1. Define the minimum design pressure of the main steam tunnel and(or its component walls or slabs.

2. Describe the anchors at the main steam line isolation valves and/or the seismic restraints designed as pipe whipping restraints,

3. Describe the reactor cleanup system pipeline run as related in proximity to the torus. Provide necessary plan and elevation drawings shmdng its routing. Indicate whether a rupture of this pipeline could cause damage to the torus.

You are requested to provide this information in one signed original and thirty-nine copies by kfarch 1, 1974. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the information requested.
