This letter is to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of July 9, 1987 which transmitted the proposed objectives and guidelines for the 1987 Diablo Canyon Annual Emergency Preparedness Exercise.
We have reviewed the objectives and guidelines and discussed them with members of your staff.
As the result of this discussion it is our understanding that your objectives will be revised to include an objective for demonstrating corrective action(s) on previous drill and exercise findings and one for record maintenance or logkeeping in the control room.
Based upon the incorporation of the above
- changes, the objectives and guidelines appear appropriate.
