INITIAL WRITTEN RETAKE EXAHIHATIOH (EXAHIHATION REPORT NUHBER 50-275/OL-94-01)
On February 16, 1994 the NRC administered an initial licensing written retake examination to one Senior Rea'ctor Operator (SRO) upgrade applicant who had reapplied to operate your Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2.
The NRC granted this applicant a waiver for the operating portion of the examination in accordance with the "Operator Licensing Examiner Standards,"
NUREG 1021, Revision 7.
The applicant passed the written examination retake and was subsequently issued a Senior Reactor Operator's license.
Your training and operating staffs provided good technical support in the validation of the examination test materials.
They were particularly helpful in providing all appropriate examination.reference materials, scheduling examination review and administration, and thoroughly validating the written examination.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and Enclosure (1) will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
