March 28 through April', 1988, of activities authorized

NRC License

and to the discussion
of our findings with
Mr. R. Thornberry,
and other members of your staff on April 1, 1988.
Areas
examined during this inspection
are described
in the enclosed
inspection
report.
Within these
areas,
the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures
and representative
records,
interviews with
personnel,
and observations
by the inspector.
As discussed
in paragraphs
2.A
of the report,
concern
was expressed
by the inspector regarding potential
impact
on the plant resulting from wildland fires.
The voluntary steps
you
are taking to address
this concern will be reviewed during future
NRC
inspections.
No violations of NRC requirements
were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
