Rescission of Confirmatory Action Letter on Return to Mid-Loop Operation By letter dated May 6, 1987 (EA-87-67), this office confirmed actions taken or to be taken by Pacific Gas and Electric prior to the return to mid-loop operations on Diablo Canyon Unit 2 in accordance with your letter of May 4, 1987.
PGIEE's letter dated May 18, 1987 confirmed that those actions would be completed prior to resumption of mid-loop operation.
Our inspections have verified that PGdmE has acceptably completed the actions for mid-loop operations.
Therefore, in accordance with our May 6 letter, concurrence is granted for Unit 2 to return to mid-loop operations for the current outage.
