The following applications were filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regu-lation (ONRR) for review in connection with the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.
A Class II fee of $1,200 was remitted with each application pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22.
1.
A July 19, 1982 application relating to changes to the security plan regarding vital area access controls.
2.
A Nay 2, 1983 application (which superseded your May 10, 1982 appli-cation).
This application proposed certain Technical Specification changes relating to containment isolation valves, organization, and fire detection instruments.
3.
An August 16, 1983 application for r elief from performing a boron mixing and cooldown test under natural circulation using decay heat.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff, it has been determined that:

A Class III fee is apppropriate for Item 1 since the review involved consideration of a single safeguards issue.
Therefore, you are re-quested to remit the additional sum of $2,800 for this application.
The application was approved by Amendment No.
6 dated October 11, 1983.
