CONFIRMATION OF CONCURRENCE -
STARTUP OF UNIT 1 -
DOCKET NO. 50-413 This letter is to confirm our concurrence with your intention to restart Unit 1 following completion of your corrective actions relative to declaration of an Unusual Event and shutting down of Unit 1 on March 10, 1988.
We had earlier confirmed with you our understanding of commitments to be completed prior to restart of Units 1 and 2 in a letter dated March 11, 1988.
After a review of your corrective actions by the NRC Augmented Inspection Team we gave you verbal concurrence to restart Unit 1 on March 11, 1988 at about 11:00 p.m. Also, as stated in our March 11, 1988 letter, you have committed to obtain NRC Region II concurrence prior to Unit 2 restart.
If your understanding is different from the above, please inform this office promptly.
