NRC REPORT NOS. 50-269/88-17, 50-270/88-17, AND 50-287/88-17
Thank you for your response of December 16, 1988 to our Notice of Violation,
issued on November 10,
1988, concerning activities conducted at your Oconee
facility.
We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the
requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
After careful review of your denial of Violation 50-269, 270, 287/88-17-02, we
have elected to accept your denial and will remove the violation from our
records.
We are still concerned about how "prompt" your corrective actions
were for the examples cited, but we agree that the problems had been recognized
and priorities had been established.
We will examine the implementation of
your corrective actions for the other violation during future inspections.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
