CRYSTAL RIVER UNIT 3 NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT - EXEMPTION FROM RECORD KEEPING REQUIREMENTS (TAC NO. L53147)
Dear Mr. Hobbs:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted the enclosed partial exemption from the record keeping requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR)
Section 50.71(c); 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, Criterion XVII; and 10 CFR 50.59(d)(3), for the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant (CR-3). This action is in response to your application dated September 14, 2016 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML16258A058). The requested exemption and application of the exemption will eliminate the requirements to maintain records that are no longer necessary due to the permanently shut-down and decommissioning status of CR-3.
