ACCOMODATIONS FOR REGION II MOBILE LABORATORY In response to a request by Mr. M. S. Tuckman, Station Manager, Oconee Nuclear
- Station, on November 30,
- 1984, during the Confirmatory Measurements Exit interview, the support requirements of the Region II Mobile Laboratory follow:
Unit #21 is an RV Type vehicle -
27 feet long, 9 feet wide and 11 feet high, license number NRC -
116.
The onsite parking area for the vehicle should be located in the protected area and be relatively level and free of obstructions.
The area should have a low radiation background with the electrical outlets located within 25 ft. of the vehicle. The electrical requirements for Unit #21 are three independent 115 volt, 20 amp circuits with Hubbell twist-lock type female receptacles.
It is important that the electrical supply be relatively free of outside interference such as circular saws, drills, power spikes and any other source of electrical fluctuations.
Your assistance in providing acceptable arrangements for the Laboratory is greatly appreciated.
