FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST TO APPROVE THE CRYSTAL RIVER UNIT 3 INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION ONLY EMERGENCY PLAN (TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING CONTROL NUMBER: L53129)
By letter, dated May 25, 2016, Duke Energy submitted a request for a proposed change to replace the Crystal River Unit 3 Permanently Defueled Emergency Plan and its associated Emergency Action Level Bases Manual with the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation - Only Emergency Plan and its associated Emergency Action Level Bases Manual.
Please review the request and provide a Safety Evaluation by March 30, 2017. The licensees application is available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System at Accession No. ML16146A639, and a copy can be provided upon request.
