CONFIRMATION OF MEETING ARRANGEMENTS - OCONEE UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 This letter confirms the arrangements made between Mark Patrick, Regulatory Compliance Manager and Frank Jape of the NRC Region II staff concerning a Management Meeting to be conducted at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region II in Atlanta, Georgia. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 21, 1993, at 9:00 a.m., a proposed agenda is enclosed.
The purpose of the meeting is for you to describe the method used by Duke Power Company at the Oconee Nuclear Station to determine whether a structure, system or component is safety related. This discussion will enable a proper resolution of the violation cited in the NRC Inspection Report No.
50-269, 270, 287/93-02, which is related to the classification of certain 6.9kV and 4kV circuit breakers which are labeled as non-safety related.
