As discussed in our May 4, 1988, meeting and arranged with Mr. M. A. Haghi of your staff, members of my staff are planning to visit the Oconee Nuclear Station on July 14, 1988, in connection with the preparation of the environmental assessment (EA) for the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI).

Enclosed is a list of NRC and its contractor personnel who will be touring the site. The purposes of the visit are to become familiar with the site and to have preliminary discussions'about additional environmental information requirements necessary for preparing the ISFSI EA.
