SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-269/93-18, 50-270/93-18, AND

50-287/93-18

This refers to the inspection conducted by F. N Wright of this office on

June 14-17, 1993. The inspection included a review of achvities authorized

for your Oconee facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings

were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed

report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

activities in progress.

Within the scope of the inspection, violations or deviations were not

identified.

Your attention is directed to the exercise weakness identified in Paragraph 4

of the enclosed Inspection Report. As required by 10 CFR 50. Appendix E,

Section IV.F, any weakness that is identified shall be corrected.

Accordingly, please advise us within 45 days of the date of this letter, the

corrective action you have taken, or plan to take, showing the estimated date

of completion with regards to the exercise weakness.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of

this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
