Thismodelisnotusedinanyanalysesofrecord,sothisdiscrepancyhasnoimpactonplantlicensingor operations.However,theRETRANbasemodelwasusedtobenchmark/replicateWestinghouseanalysesofrecordin supportofthesubjectLARsubmittedonMay8,2015forgenericNRCapprovalofapplicationofDominionreloaddesign analysismethodstoMPS3.EachofthefivebenchmarkingcasessupportingtheMay8,2015LARwerererunwiththe neededcorrection.ThisresultedineitheressentiallynodifferenceorimprovedreplicationoftheWestinghouseanalysis ofrecordresults(i.e.inthecaseoftheofthepredictedpressurizerwatervolumeforthelossofnormalfeedwater benchmark).
ThisinformationwasnotknownatthetimeofourJune25clarificationcall.Weanticipatethatmodifiedgraphsandtext fortheaffectedLossofNormalFeedwaterbenchmarkcaseintheLARmaybeneededbytheNRCtechreviewerto completehisreviewoftheLAR,andthathemaywishforustoprovidethisadditionalinformationinconjunctionwith responsestoforthcomingRAIs.
