MILLSTONE POWER STATION UNIT 2 ASME SECTION XI INSERVICE INSPECTION PROGRAM RELIEF REQUESTS FOR LIMITED COVERAGE EXAMINATIONS PERFORMED IN THE FOURTH 10-YEAR INSPECTION INTERVAL By letter dated July 30, 2015, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), Accession No. ML15216A359), Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (the licensee), submitted Requests for Relief Nos. RR-04-17 and RR-04-18 from certain requirements of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME Code), under the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Part 50, Section 50.55a(g)(5)(iii), for the fourth 10-year ISI Program for Millstone Power Station, Unit No. 2. The request for relief applies to the fourth 10-year inservice inspection (ISI) interval, in which the licensee adopted the 2004 Edition, no Addenda of ASME Code Section XI as the code of record.
2.0 REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION For Requests for Relief Nos. RR-04-17, and RR-04-18, please provide the non-destructive examination procedure used in the subject ultrasonic examinations (e.g., ASME Code,Section XI, Appendix VIII; or Section V, Article 4; or other.)
