PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

- PLANT PERFORMANCE REVIEW FOR OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION - DOCKET NOS. 50-269, 50-270, 50-287

Dear Mr. McCollum:

This letter confirms my telephone conversation with Mr. E. Burchfield of your staff on May 10, 1999, concerning a public meeting, scheduled for June 29, 1999, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the results of the NRC's most recent Plant Performance Review (PPR) for the Oconee Nuclear Station. This meeting will be held in the Auditorium of the Complex Building (Building 8032) at the Oconee Nuclear Station, 7812B Rochester Highway, Seneca, South Carolina. This will be an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
