MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION
Dear Mr. McCollum:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between J. E. Burchfield of your staff and R. E. Carroll of this office on February 1,1999, concerning two management meetings to be conducted on March 24, 1999, at the Oconee Nuclear Station. The purpose of the first meeting, which will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, is to discuss NRC Management Oversight Group issues. Scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m, the second meeting is being held to discuss Oconee performance improvement initiatives, including the results of the independent assessment of the Oconee Recovery Plan. Both meetings will be open per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
