- 1998 U. S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) TRAINING MANAGERS' CONFERENCE

Dear Mr. Bugert:

This letter confirms our recent telephone conversation concerning the 1998 NRC Training Managers' Conference which has been scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 1998, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The purpose of this conference is to inform regional training and operations management of issues and policies that affect the licensing of reactor plant operators. Our goal for the meeting is to provide an open forum for discussion of operator licensing issues. The meeting will be in the auditorium of the Richard B. Russell Building at 75 Spring Street in Atlanta, Georgia. This meeting is an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994: 59 FR 48340).
