This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. J. Burchfield of your staff and Mr. R. Carroll of this office on June 26, 1997, concerning a management meeting to be conducted in the Region II office, 61 Forsyth Street, S. W.,
Suite 24T20, Atlanta, Georgia, on August 7, 1997, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. You requested this meeting to present a self-assessment of Oconee Nuclear Station performance, including a discussion of problems encountered with the new Unit 3 integrated control system. This will be an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
