OCONEE MANAGEMENT MEETING - RESCHEDULED

Dear Mr. Hampton:

This letter confirms the conversation between yourself and Mr. C. Casto of this office on May 14, 1997, concerning changing the time of the May 15, 1997.

Management meeting to discuss the restart readiness of Units 2 and 3 with.

respect to the High Pressure Injection (HPI) nozzle cracking concern and degradation of the Unit 3 HPI system. The meeting will now be conducted at the Oconee Nuclear Station on May 16, 1997. from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. As indicated in the May 5, 1997. Confirmation of Action Letter, this meeting is a prerequisite to obtaining the Regional Administrator's concurrence to restart either unit. Accordingly, this will be an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20. 1994; 59 FR 48340).
