MANAGEMENT MEETING - OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION
Dear Mr. Hampton:
This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. W. Foster of your staff and Mr. C. Casto of this office on May 9, 1997, concerning a Management meeting to be conducted at the Oconee Nuclear Station on May 15, 1997, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the.restart readiness of Units 2 and 3 with respect to the High Pressure Injection (HPI) nozzle cracking concern and degradation of the Unit 3 HPI system. As indicated in the May 5, 1997, Confirmation of Action Letter, this meeting is a prerequisite to obtaining the Regional Administrator's concurrence to restart either unit.
Accordingly, this will be an open meeting as per "Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20, 1994; 59 FR 48340).
