AMENDMENT TO INDEMNITY AGREEMENT B-44, OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1, 2 AND 3 (TAC NOS. M98987, M98988, AND M98989)
Dear Mr. McCollum:
In response to your letter dated June 12, 1997, the staff issued Amendment Nos. 226, 226, and 223 on September 16, 1997. The amendments changed the name of the licensee from "Duke Power Company" to "Duke Energy Corporation" in the Oconee Operating Licenses. By letter dated November 19, 1998, you requested conforming changes to Indemnity Agreement B-44 for Oconee to retroactively effect the same name change.
To complete this process, two copies of Amendment No. 16 to Indemnity Agreement B-44 are enclosed. We request that you sign and return one copy to the NRC Document Control Desk, indicating acceptance of the agreement for the Duke Energy Corporation.
