Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2 and 3 In a letter dated June 22, 1987, we stated that "the Orders confirm that the Technical Support Center and the Operational Support Center are complete in all respects except for Regulatory Guide 1.97 instrumentation; the Safety Parameters Display System (SPDS) is also complete". We would like to clarify the reference to the SPDS. The Order states that the implementation of the SPDS is complete. Our review, however, is still ongoing. Therefore, the SPDS issue has not yet been resolved. If you have any questions, please call me at (301) 492-7377.
