This confirms the conversation between Mr. N. A. Rutherford of your staff, and
Mr. T. A. Peebles of my staff, on April 16,
1987, concerning an enforcement
conference to be conducted at the Region II Office on May 13,
1987,
at
10:00 a.m. We requested this meeting to discuss our findings relative to the
Unit 3 startup with both trains of high pressure injection inoperable and
valves to the Low Pressure Injection Heat Exchangers closed as discussed in
Inspection Reports 50-269/87-16,
50-270/87-16 and 50-287/87-16.
A proposed
meeting agenda is enclosed.
