The NRC staff has recently completed the review of the "Oconee Nuclear Station Generic Start-up Testing Prgram" whch6 was submitted by letter dated June 4, 1980 and revised-letters dated June 11, July 11 a.d August 15, 1980.
The proposed programwhi6 describes the physics test program for the start-up of subsequent reload cores at the Oconee Nuclear Units was reviewed against the saff's endrsedfo level accepi nce criteria and remedial actions.e The staff finds the proposed start-up testing program to adequately address the NRC concerns.
We,. therefore, ncoclude that the program des cribed above is acceptable for all three Oconee Units for all future start-ups unless a reload involves significant changes which would require additional confirmatory testing.
