By applications dated February 15, 1980 and July 1, 1980, you requested the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) to review your proposed.fuel pool expansion for Oconee Units I and 2. With these applications, you remitted fees (pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22) for Classes III and I and for Classes IV and ', respectively.
Based on information that has been provided by the ONRR staff as a result of their preliminary review of the two applications, it has been determined that Classes IV and I fees-are appropriate for the spent fuel pool expansion. On this basis, twe are concurrently authorizing the Office of the Controller to refund the $4,400 paid with your February 15, 1980 application. Refunds are generally processed within approxinately two weeks.
