AUDIT OF PROCEDURES AND TRAINING FOR PRESSURIZED THERMAL SHOCK.
Re:
Oconee Nuclear Station, Units Nos. 1, 2 and 3 We have reviewed your November 12, 1982 response to the NRC audit of procedures and training for pressurized thermal shock (PTS) that was conducted May 11-14, 1982 at the Oconee Nuclear Station. This audit was conducted to assure the NRC staff that the plant operators had sufficient knowledge of PTS concerns and mitigative actions to deal with a PTS event should one occur.
Based on our review, we conclude that you have met the objectives of the PTS audit and no further action will be required based on that audit.
