Subject: Report Nos. 50-269/81-06, 50-270/81-06 and 50-287/81-06
Thank you for your letters of May 22 and June 2, 1981, informing us of steps you
have taken to correct the violations concerning activities under NRC Operating
License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47, and DPR-55 brought to your attention in our letter
of April 28, 1981.
Regarding Violation A, we have evaluated your response and concur with the
additional clarification involving the intent and use of the Administrative
Policy Manual.
This example of failure to review "procedures" is withdrawn;
however, failure to review Station Directives as required remains the basis for
the violation as stated.
Your reply stated that for Violation C, a decision on the final resolution is
not expected until July 1, 1981,
and for Violation E, an evaluation is not
expected until July 1, 1981.
We request that this office be notified of your
resolution and evaluation by July 20,
1981.
Regarding Violations A, B, and D, we will examine your corrective actions and
plans during subsequent inspections.
We appreciate your cooperation with us.
