By letter dated November 23, 1983, the Division of Licensing (DL) staff informed your Company of their partial approval of your application dated September 1, 1983, as supplemented September 14, 1983, and issued Amend ment Nos. 124, 124, and 121 to License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47 and DPR-55.
This application proposed certain Technical Specification changes related to Cycle 7 reload for Unit No. 2 and associated changes on high flux trip (which also involved Unit Nos. 1 and 3) and axial power shaping rod posi tion limits (which also involved Unit No. 3). A Class III fee ($4,000) was remitted with your application pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on information provided by the DL staff, it has been determined that the Class III fee ($4,000) remitted is appropriate for Unit No. 2 since the review involved consideration of a single safety issue. However, two Class I fees ($800) are also appropriate for the other two units since some of the changes requested were applicable to the other units. There fore, you are requested to remit the additional sum of $800 to this office.
If the DL staff's final review of your application reveals that these fees are not appropriate, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
