This office has received a copy of your letter dated August 17, 1979, which transmitted your Nuclear Security Training and Qualification Plans to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review and approval as re quired by 10 CFR 73.55 orf the Commission's regulations.
The Plans are for Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 under Facility LicensesDPR-38, DPR-47, and DPR-55. The submittals were not accompanied by approval or amendment fees as required by Section 170.22 of 10 CFR 170. Section 170.12(c)'
requires that your company provide a proposed determination of the amendment
- (approval) class, state the basis therefor, and remit the fee corresponding to this determination with the application for approval or amendment for each plant.
Based on guidance from the ONRR staff as a result of preliminary review of your Plans, it has been determined that your application involves consideration of a single safeguards issue requiring a Class III fee of $4,000 for Unit 1 and Class I fee of $400 each for Units 2 and 3 (totalling $4,800).
Fees are payable to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission by check, draft, 'or money order. If the final review of your Plans by the ONRR staff reveals that these fees are incorrect, you will be refunded-any overpayment or billed for any additional amount due.
