SHEARON HARRIS NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT 1 - DAM SAFETY INSPECTION REPORT (TAC NO. MF5201)
Dear Mr. Waldrep:
Enclosed is a copy of the Dam Safety Inspection Report prepared by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This report contains the results of an insp.ection on April 1, 2015, of the auxiliary reservoir dam at the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1. Based on observations made during field inspection, review of data submitted by the owner, and discussions with NRC and licensee representatives, FERC found that the Shearon Harris Auxiliary Reservoir Dam and appurtenant structures were in satisfactory condition and adequately maintained.. No conditions were found adversely affecting the safety, permanence, and operational reliability of the reservoir.
At FERC's request, the enclosure is not being made publicly available, since it contains critical energy infrastructure information.
