Pre-submittal telecon meeting with the NRC for MPS2 LOCA LARs
- Rich, Dominion is interested in scheduling a public meeting around April 29th with the NRC by teleconference to discuss submittal of LOCA Analysis LARs for SBLOCA and Large Break LOCA as part of the spring 2017 fuel upgrade plan for MPS2. The Dominion SBLOCA LAR submittal is dependent on the Safety Evaluation for AREVA Topical Report EMF-2328, Rev. 0, Supplement 1, which the NRC has recently issued to AREVA as a draft. Dominion would like to discuss the scope, schedule, review dates, and treatment of the Zirc-4 fuel product for the MPS2 SBLOCA LAR. The MPS2 SBLOCA LAR is planned for submittal by the end of May 2015.
We would also like to discuss submittal of a Large Break LOCA LAR after completion of the NRC review of the AREVA RLBLOCA topical report.
