SUBJECT:
OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 - WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT (TAC NOS. M99531, M99532, AND M99533)
Dear Mr. McCollum:
By letter dated September 4, 1997, you applied for amendments to the Oconee Nuclear Station Units 1, 2, and 3, Operating License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47, and DPR-55, respectively. The proposed change would have modified the Oconee Technical Specifications (TS) pertaining to justifying the acceptability of the current TS for the High Pressure Injection (HPI) System and allowing operation at reduced power levels with two HPI pumps. Subsequently, by letter dated February 9, 1998, you withdrew the amendment request.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendments to Facility Operating Licenses with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
Sincerely, ORIGINAL SIGNED BY:
