The focus of the GL was to verify that SG tube inspection practices were consistent with existing regulatory requirements and plant licensing.

bases. DEC's response included a description and technical basis for all inspection techniques used to size the depth of SG tube degradation at Oconee.

The purpose of this letter is to inform DEC that the staff has completed its review of your response to GL 97-05, and that this review did not identify any concerns with the SG tube inspection techniques used at Oconee that would indicate DEC is not in compliance with the current licensing basis for the facility.
