Davis-Besse Unit 1 Updated Final Safety Analysis Report 16.0-1 UFSAR Rev 30 10/2014 SECTION 16 16.0 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FSAR Section 16 contained the Technical Specifications which had been proposed to the NRC pursuant to 10CFR50.34 (b) (6) (vi) and 10CFR50.36. These Technical Specifications were removed from the FSAR as part of FSAR Revision 19.

The DBNPS Unit 1 Technical Specifications were issued by the NRC as Appendices A and B to the Davis-Besse Operating License (OL). The Technical Specifications continue to be maintained and controlled as OL Appendix A. Appendix B (Environmental Technical Specifications) was deleted by OL Amendment 133.

Based on the NRCs Final Policy Statement on Technical Specification Improvements for nuclear power plants, and 10 CFR 50.36 as amended in the Final Rule published in the Federal Register dated July 13, 1995, certain requirements may be relocated from the Operating License Technical Specifications to other licensee-controlled documents. In an effort to centralize the requirements relocated from the Technical Specifications and to ensure the necessary administrative controls are applied to these requirements, the Davis-Besse Technical Requirements Manual (TRM) has been developed. The TRM is incorporated by reference into the USAR.
