DRAFT-RAIs to FENOC RE: REVIEW OF LICENSEE SECURITY PLAN (TAC NOS. MF5008 and MF5009)

DRAFT Security Plan RAIs.pdf Mr. Lashley, By letter dated June 6, 2014 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML14177A471), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (the licensee) submitted Revision 18 to their security plans (Physical Security Plan (PSP), Safeguards Contingency Plan (SCP), and Training and Qualification Plan), under the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.54(p)(2).
The NRC staff has reviewed the information submitted by the licensee, and based on this review, determined additional information is required to complete its assessment. Please find attached a DRAFT Request For Additional Information (RAI). These RAIs are being sent to you to ensure that the questions are understandable, the regulatory basis for the questions is clear, and to determine if the information was previously docketed. Please respond to me by Monday, November 10, 2014, and notify me if you desire to hold a teleconference to discuss the questions. The NRC staff will request a response to the RAIs within 30 days of the formal NRC RAI transmittal letter.
