CONSENT PROVIDED TO SHIP CATEGORY 1 QUANTITIES OF COBALT-60 TO INTERNATIONAL ISOTOPES, INC.
Dear Ms. Reyes:
On October 16, 2014, the Office of International Programs received your request to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to obtain government-to-government consent to import a Category 1 quantity of cobalt-60 (Co-60) with an activity of 59.2 TBq to International Isotopes, Inc., located in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Upon review of your request and the material possession license authorization issued to the importer, the NRC hereby grants consent to import 59.2 TBq of Co-60 to International Isotopes, Inc., located in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
This authorization expires on October 22, 2015.
