ConsistentwithSection50.90ofTitle10oftheCodeofFederalRegulations(10CFR),anamendmenttothelicensemust fullydescribethechangesrequested,andfollowingasfarasapplicable,theformprescribedfororiginalapplications.
Section50.34of10CFRaddressesthecontentoftechnicalinformationrequired.Thissectionstipulatesthatthe submittaladdressthedesignandoperatingcharacteristics,unusualornoveldesignfeatures,andprincipalsafety considerations.
TheNRCstaffhasreviewedyourapplicationandconcludedthatitdoesprovidetechnicalinformationinsufficientdetail toenablethestafftoproceedwithitsdetailedtechnicalreviewandmakeanindependentassessmentregardingthe acceptabilityoftheproposedamendmentintermsofregulatoryrequirementsandtheprotectionofpublichealthand safetyandtheenvironment.Ifadditionalinformationisneededforthestafftocompleteitstechnicalreview,youwill beadvisedbyseparatecorrespondence.
