Citizens Resistance at Fermi Two (CRAFT) has moved for an extension of time to file its Reply to DTE and the NRC Staffs Answers to CRAFTs Request for a Hearing and Petition to Intervene.1 The Answers were filed on Friday, September 12. CRAFT requests an extension for its Reply to Monday, September 22, stating that it did not receive the Answers until Monday, September 15.2 CRAFTs motion does not conform to the requirements of 10 C.F.R. § 2.323(b), which states that [a] motion must be rejected if it does not include a certification by the attorney or representative of the moving party that the movant has made a sincere effort to contact other parties in the proceeding and resolve the issue(s) raised in the motion, and that the movants efforts to resolve the issue(s) have been unsuccessful.3 If CRAFT wants to pursue the 1

requested extension, it should resubmit the motion in conformance with all pertinent regulations as soon as possible, but no later than the close of business on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
If the motion is resubmitted as directed, the Board will rule on it promptly.
