Request for Additional Information - Davis Besse Flooding Hazard Report (TAC No. MF3721)

Mr. Lashley, By letter dated March 11, 2014, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML14070A108) FirstEnergy provided a response to the 10 CFR 50.54(f) letters regarding the flooding aspects of recommendation 2.1 of the Near-Term Task Force Review of insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichi accident for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNS).

Based on a review of the submittal, the NRC staff has determined that the following additional information (RAIs) are required in order to complete its review. The request for additional information was previously provided to you in draft form. It was agreed that a response to these RAIs would be provided by August 27, 2014. Should the NRC determine that these RAIs are no longer necessary prior to the scheduled date, the request will be withdrawn. If circumstances result in the need to revise the requested response date, please contact me at (301) 415-1132 or via e-mail at joseph.sebrosky@nrc.gov. The NRC staff has determined that no security-related or proprietary information is contained herein.
