H. B. ROBINSON-STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNIT NO. 2, EFFECT OF EXXON CODE ERRORS During a conference call on March 20, 1985, we discussed a possible error in an Exxon LOCA analysis computer code with members of your staff. We requested that your staff document and expand on the discussion with regard to impact on the HBR-2 LOCA analysis. By letter dated March 27, 1985 you provided the response.
In your response, you stated that you utilized a version of the Exxon computer code that did not contain the coding problem. Regarding the status of the HBR-2 K(z) curve, your letter stated that you revised the K(z) curve because confirmatory analysis would not support the existing curve and that the new curve has been approved.
We have reviewed your March 27, 1985 response and agree that the code error problem or the K(z) curve does not impact analysis for HBR-2.
