SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT ON INSERVICE INSPECTION (ISI) PROGRAM PLAN AND REQUESTS FOR RELIEF FROM ISI REQUIREMENTS FOR H. B. ROBINSON UNIT 2 We have completed our review of your ISI Plan submitted by letters dated January 18, 1983 and April 30, 1984 which included additional information for the second ten year interval (March 7, 1981 to March 7, 1991).
We have granted relief from the examination requirements which we have determined to be impractical to perform and, by granting relief, would not compromise the safety of the facility and we have denied relief in cases where the necessary findings could not be made.
(See Tables 1 through 5 of our Safety Evaluation).
Our Safety Evaluation Report (SER) is enclosed. The SER is based on our subcontractor's, Science Applications, Inc. (SAI), review of your requests, supporting information and proposed alternatives. Our subcontractors Technical Evaluation Report is also enclosed as an attachment to our SER.
