Confirmation of Action -
Robinson 2 Docket No. 50-261 This is to confirm the telephone discussion between Mr. B. Furr, Vice President of Nuclear Operations and Mr. F. J. Long of this office on April 26, 1982. That discussion related to the circumstances surrounding the cracking of reactor coolant pump bolts and other results of the in-service inspection conducted at your H. B. Robinson 2 facility. Based on the discussion, it is our understanding that you will perform an inspection of a second coolant pump and based on your evaluation of the results, a decision will be made regarding the third pump. It is also our understanding that you will obtain the concurrence of this office prior to resuming reactor operation at the H. B. Robinson facility.
Please inform this office immediately, if your understanding of this matter is different from that stated above.
