Dear Mr. Jones:
to By letter dated June 17, 1981, you provided your approbhb for performing an expanded study of the H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant, Uilt 2 Station Electric Distribution System Voltage. Your approach is based on the folowing:
11 A system analysis using.initial conditions of the system grid at 0.95 p.u. with 100% power operation at name plate Fating with safety injection initiated.
- 2. A system analysis using initial conditions of the grid at 1.06 p.u.
with all plant buses in their most lightly loaded condition.
- 3. A tabulation of the load terminal voltages for steady -state and transient conditions on the 4160, 480, 208, and 120-volt buses based 'upon results of analyses conducted in 1 and 2 above.
- 4. An in-plant test to measure and record the boads and impedances during steady state, starting of a latge 4160-volt motor and starting of a large Class IE motor for comparison with Whd.verifi cation of results of analyses obtained by calculations with an explanation of any variances between th analytical and tests results.
yfu requested that we verify our agreement with the above approach.
We concur that the above information is what we discussed Oy telephone on March 10,15981, except that under item 1 you should include starting a large nont-class IE motor.
