This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
inspection conducted by
M. J. DeGraff on May 16 - 20,
1988.
The inspection included a review of
activities authorized for your H. B. Robinson facility. At the conclusion of
the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
.
identified in
the enclosed inspection report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.
Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and eepresentative records, interviews with personnel,
and observation of
activities in progress.
No new violations or deviations were identified during this inspection.
The
two violations described in the enclosed Notice of Violation were identified
during the SSFI inspection conducted March 9 - April
15,
1987,
and were
inadvertently omitted from the Notice of Violation sent to you by our letter
dated November 13,
1987.
Based on the information provided during the
Enforcement Conference on June 26,
1987, your July 10,
1987, response to NRC
Inspection Report No.
50-261/87-06 and our review of your corrective actions
during this inspection, no response to the enclosed Notice of Violation is
required.
The enclosed Inspection Report documents oral commitments (see paragraph 3)
made by a licensee representative and discussed in the exit interview.
If
your understanding of these commitments differs from the report statements,
please inform this office promptly.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure
